Will my machine warranty be voided if I use generic
cartridges?
No, in the same way you can use genuine or non genuine
parts for your car, you can do the same for your printer.
A manufacturer cannot require you to use their brand-name
cartridge. You can use any brand and still keep your warranty
intact.
How long can I store cartridges?
Depending upon storage conditions and each manufacturer,
original, sealed packages last about 12 to 24 months. Opened
packages last approximately 3 to 6 months.
How should I store cartridges?
Keep in a cool, dry area, away from any direct light.
Avoid temperature extremes.
Is there any harm in running completely dry on Ink?
When left for a period of time inkjet heads can dry
out and clog, or overheat. it is best to change them when
your printer software recommends it.
How can I best recycle the used cartridges?
Used toner and ink cartridges can be disposed of
at any Planet Ark or Australia Post outlet.
